Founders
Bengt Källbäck is the founder of CathPrint with Professors Lars-Åke Brodin and Håkan Elmqvist as co-founders.
Bengt Källbäck has a PhD and is Associate Professor in Solid State Electronics at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm (KTH). He has experience in academic and industrial research and development in design, manufacturing and quality control of microelectronics, electronics packaging and hardware design. He has a broad knowledge and experience in CathPrint’s central area of technology and his network gives the company great advantages when choosing partners.
Håkan Elmqvist has a PhD in applied electronics and Professor Emeritus of biomedical engineering at Karolinska Institute. He has previously worked at Siemens Medical Solutions where he was head of the Electromedical Group. He has founded several medical technology companies and has 66 patents related to pacemakers.
Lars-Åke Brodin is a professor of biomedical engineering at KTH, where he is Dean of the School of Engineering and Health. He holds a key patent in cardiac diagnosis with ultrasound and has published 115 scientific articles. Lars-Åke cooperates with several international research groups.

Anders Bröms – Chairman. He has a history at ABB and other international business. He has also been active in Almi, a public organization supporting SMEs and is currently involved in a number of boards.
Thim Öhman – Angel Investor and the largest investor.
Johan Lantz – CEO of SvenskKonstruktionstjänst, a company that is our partner for development of production equipment.
Bengt Källbäck – founder.
Pär Hedberg – founder and CEO of Stockholm Innovation & Growth, STING. He has experience in establishing export-based technology companies as well as to support start-up companies through his work in STING.

Prof. Professor Anders Hult, Polymer Chemistry, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), who contributes expertise in polymer materials, which is a key part of our business. Anders Hult is also the co-inventor of CathPrint’s basic innovation.
Jan Hultman is an associate professor of anesthesiology and critical care, and consultant and head of Thoracic Surgery at Karolinska University Hospital.
